Recording Calls

Q: Am I able to utilize my personal mobile phone and associated number for call recording purposes?

A: Absolutely. You can use your personal device and phone number for recording calls.

Q: Is it necessary to download an external app to record calls?

A: No, there is no need for an external application to record calls.

​

Q: Must I be logged into the Dori platform to initiate call recording?

A: No, being on the Dori platform is not a prerequisite for call recording.

Q: Is it possible for me to transfer the recorded calls to my computer at my convenience?

A: Yes, you can download and transfer the recorded calls to your computer whenever you wish.

​

Q: Does the recording include a CMS Disclosure statement?

A: The Dori platform offers the flexibility to include any disclosure you need. It will be announced to your client at the beginning of the recorded call.

Q: Can I record both inbound and outbound calls?

A: Yes, our system allows you to record calls whether you are receiving or making them.

Q: What method is used to send the Statement of Advice (SOA)?

A: The SOA is delivered to clients via SMS.

Q: Can I be assured of the security when sending the SOA?

A: Yes, the SOA's security is a priority. The link provided in the SMS can only be accessed with a code that you give to your client, ensuring secure delivery.

Q: What process does my client follow to obtain their copy of the SOA?

A: Upon completion of the SOA submission by the client, Dori will automatically dispatch a copy to your client that will be accessible for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can print the SOA and send it via traditional mail.

Q: Where is the SOA stored after being issued?

A: All SOAs are securely archived within the Dori CRM system.

Q: What are the options for adding my clients into the Dori system?

A: Clients can be entered into Dori either one at a time manually or in bulk using the provided xls template for mass import.
